Wessex Cancer Trust proudly presents the Starlit Trail! Brand new for 2019.

Be a star, support local people affected by cancer and see Winchester in a different light!

Join us on a 5k starlit walk through the historic city centre of Winchester. Starting from the prestigious Guildhall on the High Street at around 7.30pm, you’ll take in some beautiful landmarks and enjoy live entertainment as you make your way through the pretty streets. The route will end back at the Guildhall where we’ll raise a glass and toast your success with fizz and nibbles!

Date: Friday 20th September 2019 – the walk will start at 7.30pm

Location: Starting and ending at the Guildhall in Winchester and walking around the streets of the beautiful city centre

Registration fees:

Under 16s – £13

Adults – £17

Team of 4 adults – £50

Discount code: Use code ONLINE5 to get £5 off your registration.

The registration fee helps us to cover the cost of putting on the event. The money raised by walkers is what helps us to continue to support local families affected by cancer. We’re kindly asking walkers to raise £75 per adult and £25 per child.

About Wessex Cancer Trust

Every year around 23,000 people within the Wessex region (Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, IOW, Channel Islands) are diagnosed with cancer. A diagnosis can be a shock and have a huge impact on an entire family. That’s why we’re committed to providing free support for anyone affected by cancer.

Our cancer support centres are safe places for people to receive the emotional, practical and physical support they need. On arrival clients are welcomed by our amazing volunteer befrienders who are equipped to provide information, support and a listening ear. A team of specialist counsellors are on hand to help deal with the emotional impact of cancer, and complementary therapies aim to improve wellbeing, help with pain management and increase self-confidence.

We provide health and wellbeing information, exercise programmes and courses to help people live well with their cancer diagnosis. From coffee mornings to craft groups and mindfulness classes, people come together to meet people who understand what they are going through. We’re proud that our centres are a safe community for anyone affected by cancer.
