Wiltshire County Cricket Club start their competitive season with four group matches in the Unicorns T20 competition, two on Sunday, May 5 and two on Monday, May 6.

Cornwall at Werrington is the first test before they travel to Sidmouth for another two games versus Devon. The first match on each day starts at 11am.

Wiltshire will be looking to reverse the trend after they lost two matches for the Marlborough Cup against last year’s Unicorns T20 winner, Berkshire, at the weekend.

Berkshire won the first match at North Maidenhead Cricket club by 18 runs. They scored 154 for 6 wickets (Andy Rishton 42, Euan Woods 41) Ed Young took 3 for 28. Wiltshire in reply made 136 for 7 wickets (Ed Young 57) Euan Woods took 3 for 25.

In the second match Berkshire made an impressive 205 for 3 wickets. (Dan Lincoln 94, Tom Scriven 61 not out). Partnership of 137 in 13 overs. In reply Wiltshire were 133 for 7 wickets. Berkshire won by 72 runs.
