One of the world’s most iconic football clubs is in Tisbury this summer for coaching sessions for boys and girls aged six to 16. The Real Madrid Foundation Clinic is at Nadder Centre from August 26 to 30 to provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of top quality coaching on and off the pitch.
Real Madrid Foundation values will be taught by coaches from all over Europe on a comprehensive course developed by coaches of the Spanish club’s youth academy ‘La Cantera’.
The week-long camp has five key values; leadership, teamwork, self-control, effort and respect for others, and mixes pitch-based work, group activities and practical exercises designed to improve players of any ability.
Latest technology will be used, such as GPS belts to track runs or the Smartball which shows how hard the users can shoot. Additionally, an action-packed social programme is promised.
Those who attend receive an adidas football, Real Madrid drinking bottle, full adidas Real Madrid kit and Real Madrid school strip. The best pupils from each clinic get the chance to play in a national final in which they compete against all other winners from other clinics in the UK.
From that event, the best players will play a full-size game at The Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid. For more information on the camp, visit www.frmclinics.com.
