South Wilts Grammar School for Girls

Students excelled in their A-Level examinations this year with an outstanding 78% of all A-Level results at A*, A or B grades, an improvement on previous years. And 47% of all grades were A* or A, with 14.4% at A* and a pass rate of 100% A*-E.

Of 154 girls sitting A-Level examinations this year, 43 gained three or more A-Levels at grade A or A*: 29 gained 4 A*/A grades, including General Studies, Core Maths and EPQ, with two gaining five A*/A grades.

“We are very pleased to celebrate our students’ exceptional achievements. These outstanding outcomes reflect the strength of the relationships between staff, students and parents and these are particularly pleasing now the majority of subjects are linear A-Levels,” said Michele Chilcott, Headteacher.
