Salisbury’s Leehurst Swan School Year 6 pupils’ residential visit to Mill on the Brue proved to be another exciting, engaging and exhilarating experience for pupils. The mill is a fun and challenging outdoor adventure activity centre in 25 acres of Somerset countryside.

On arriving, pupils had lunch before the afternoon’s Ice Breaker Olympics, a variety of activities involving team work and problem solving. Throughout the week, they took part in crate stacking, grass tobogganing, canoeing on the River Brue, clay oven pizza making, tree climbing, the low ropes course, and more.

The residential trip encourages team work and fosters a ‘can-do’ attitude, self-discipline and time keeping.
