Hazlegrove Prep School’s departing Year 8 pupils go on to a wide range of senior schools with an impressive array of scholarships.
During the past three years, the school’s pupils consistently achieved 30-plus scholarships and awards on an annual basis to leading senior schools, including Marlborough, Eton, Sherborne, Cheltenham Ladies’ College, and King’s School Bruton.
“The school provides the best in education to the children in its care and, despite being largely non-selective at its point of intake, always sees children leaving prep school education and heading off to their senior school of choice,” said Headmaster Mark White, formerly of the Dragon School.
He wished all of the Year 8 pupils the best of luck in their future endeavours at the annual Leavers’ Dinner held in the grounds of Hazlegrove, at the end of the summer term.
Hazlegrove is an independent day and boarding preparatory school for 360 boys and girls, established in 1947.
