Wiltshire FA and Crimestoppers charity are joining forces to promote active and safe communities to ensure people feel safe wherever they live.

Wiltshire FA says it is driven by the principles to educate, develop and support the community by offering professional training, opportunities to get involved in football and support for players, officials, clubs and leagues.

Last year 1,365 reports were sent by Crimestoppers to Wiltshire Police with information about drug crimes, assault and harassment, driving offenses and possession of weapons. From the reports 15 people were arrested and charged and 11 cases resulted in positive action.

Wiltshire FA work with 1,069 football teams in Wiltshire with 10,000 players under the age of 18.
