The League of Friends raised nearly £600 for Westminster Memorial Hospital at their Summer Fair.

“Shaftesbury’s mayor, Tim Cook, opened the Fair and met Toni, our Teddy Bear who held a special Teddy Bear’s Picnic for all the children. With their help and all the lovely volunteers on the day we had our best Fair yet, which will help support this amazing hospital,” said Denise Potter, a volunteer hospital trustee and the fair’s organizer.

Denise added “We are grateful to Matron Helen Lawes for letting us hold our fundraising fair in the grounds of the hospital. It was a busy day, helped by the lovely sunshine.”
