Business leaders are invited to join Salisbury BID’s board of directors.

BID is the business improvement district funded by more than 500 members within the ring road of Salisbury city centre. Businesses with a rateable value of £10,000 or above pay into the Salisbury BID through an annual levy, with funds amounting to £350,000 a year to pay for projects and services which support the business environment.

Salisbury BID is reviewing its board of directors of 11 business representatives, and applications to join are invited.

The board hopes to reflect the city’s diversity and welcomes applications from everyone, and is actively seeking diverse applications.

A BID director is a voluntary position who must be in a Salisbury BID levy-paying business.

The role is to provide governance for the BID company, and strategic leadership to support the local business environment and the BID’s staff team.
