Police need information about an assault in North Street, Wilton, at about 2.30pm on Monday, June 25. A 53-year-old man was approached by a group of young men near Castle Lane.

One of the men punched the victim in the head causing a lump and blurred vision, which needed hospital treatment.
The suspect is described as white, aged 17 to 20 and about 5ft 11ins tall. He had short dark styled hair, and was wearing long shorts and a T-shirt, and had a slight Irish accent.

Police appealing for anyone in the area at the time who may have either seen the assault, or has information about the suspect to call 101 and quote crime reference number 54180057878 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
