The Devizes man who was in a car crash just before Christmas died yesterday, January 10. His family is being supported by a specialist family liaison officer.

The collision was on the A360 north of Salisbury at about 10.20am on December 20, at the junction with Stoford and the Woodfords.

The 47-year-old man was driving a silver Honda CRV which collided with a DAF cement truck.

He was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the cement truck, a 21-year-old man from Salisbury, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, and is on bail pending enquiries by the Serious Investigation Department.
