A serious assault in Salisbury city centre has resulted in arrests of four people but Police still want more information.

In the early hours of Saturday, September 1, a 28-year-old man was assaulted on Wilton Road, near to St Paul’s roundabout, and suffered head and facial injuries.  Two women, aged 22 and 25, and two men aged 20 and 21, from the Salisbury area, were arrested on suspicion but were released under investigation.

Det Con Sarah Cearns said: “Since our initial appeal, people have come forward with information which has assisted our investigation greatly.

“However, we are now appealing for anyone driving in the immediate vicinity of St Paul’s roundabout on the A36 between 3.30am and 3.45am on Saturday, September 1 to come forward, particularly any drivers who may have dash-cam footage of the area.”
