Pupils with special needs in autism and mental health difficulties will have specialist education provision in the south of Wiltshire next spring.

Academy Trust, Reach South, which includes Springfields Academy, Magna Learning Partnership and Wiltshire Council are working together to open Springfields South as a satellite specialist provision on the site of Sarum Academy, Salisbury.

A new building on the school site is currently being converted and refurbished. The facility will take children from primary and lower secondary age groups, as part of the wider review of special education.

Springfields Academy specialises in supporting vulnerable young people, with ASD/SEMH, to access and enjoy their learning.
