Warwickshire mayors and other civic leaders are in Salisbury on Sunday, April 14 ‘to show solidarity and support’ after last year’s poising incidents.

The 36 leaders will be greeted by Mayor of Salisbury, Cllr Mike Osment, Mayoress Nikki Savage, and deputy mayor, Cllr John Walsh at 11.30am. They then go to the Guildhall for refreshments and a tour of the historic building and the city.

Lunch is in Salisbury Cathedral refectory, after which, they can explore the Cathedral  and end the day at the choral evensong service at 4.30pm.

Included in the visiting party are the Lord and Lady Mayoress of Coventry, Mayors of Stratford on Avon, Shipston, and Leamington Spa, and the President of Warwick Lions.
