Wilton Community Land Trust annual general meeting is on Thursday, July 18, 6:30pm to 8:30pm in St Peter’s Church Fugglestone, the small church by the roundabout on the junction of the A36 and Minster Street, Wilton.
Refreshments are available from 6:30pm for non-members and members, and booking is through the Eventbrite link or on the Trust’s webpage.
The board directors want community views on the potential acquisition of community assets such as the old police station and the Sheep Fair Field. Non-members can decide if they want to join.
A new director proposed is, Alan Powell, local resident and architect with considerable experience in sustainable development. Any member wishing to put himself/herself forward as a director could write using email address firstname.lastname@example.org.
“Volunteers/directors are needed with qualifications and/or experience in housing development; fundraising; law; and charity accountancy,” said board chairman Neil Prigent.
