February half term theatre and creative workshops are at Salisbury Playhouse and Salisbury Arts Centre next week.
Theatre performances include The Pixie’s Scarf on Monday, February 18; Lily and the Albatross on Tuesday, February 19, both in The Salberg at Salisbury Playhouse; and The Bird Show on Friday, February 22 at Salisbury Playhouse.
A choice of workshops at Salisbury Arts Centre includes the Comic Art Masterclass Workshop on Tuesday, February 19, to learn how easy it is to draw. Everyone in the class leaves with a comic strip and an individual caricature. Ideal for children aged seven to 16.
A Dance in a Day workshop is on Thursday, February 21 at Salisbury Arts Centre for youngsters aged eight to 11 to learn athletic, acrobatic and martial arts inspired repertoire from James Wilton’s performance of Leviathan later that evening. Suitable for beginners and those with some dance experience.
Storytime Movers on Friday, February 22, at Salisbury Arts Centre, is an early years dance session aimed at two-to-five year olds. Inspired by the story of the Three Little Pigs, the session lets children explore their own imagination.
