Selling hot dogs and spooky cakes at Grovely Riding School’s annual Halloween funday raised £106.50 for the Stars Appeal .

The whole day involved dressing up, including the ponies, and fun-riding games and learning about pony care in gooey , spooky trick or treat teaching. Choosing pizza toppings for your pony could be tricky if you don’t know what gives them a tummy ache: and who knows what might be in the hidden buckets.

The event, run annually for more than 10 years , raises money for charity by having fun with the ponies.  The Stars Appeal was chosen after co owner Sue Curtis was seriously ill this year and the yard wanted to pay back a little something.
