An illuminated procession will be the highlight of Salisbury Carnival on Friday, October 19,  from 7.30pm until 9pm, which promises to be a fantastic evening for the whole family, according to the organisers Salisbury City Council.

The carnival has entries from the Wessex Carnival Circuit, steam engines, and local community groups and businesses.
The procession weaves itself the city along Castle Street, Blue Boar Row, Queen Street, New Canal, High Street, Bridge Street, Fisherton Street and back into Central Car Park.

Now in its ninth year, the event raises funds for the Mayor of Salisbury’s appeal, the Rose Gale Trust and Children’s Chance.
