Salisbury City Council launched an Environmental Enforcement Campaign at the end of July, since then Fixed Penalty Notices have been issued to those who drop litter or fail to clean up after their dog.

In the first three months of the trial, 409 fixed term penalty notices for littering were posted. Enforcement officers are now tackling dog fouling in the city centre and residential streets.

The council hopes littering problem will help to make the city can cleaner for residents and visitors.
