A new service specialising in caring for older people in their own homes, based in Salisbury, hopes to create 50 new jobs. The office of Home Instead Senior Care is on New Street and will serve clients in Salisbury, Romsey, Wilton, Downton, The Winterslows, The Wellows, Fordingbridge and surrounding towns and villages.
Jon Gapper was inspired by his experience working as a general manager for his parent’s neighbouring Home Instead office in Alresford. For the past three years, he gained experience by supporting his parents, and managing the home care business which has been running for eight years.
Caring duo Jon and Helen Gapper (pictured above) know how rewarding a career in care is, and look forward to being part of the local community. They are now on the lookout for like-minded individuals who are kind and compassionate and who may be interested in joining their team.
Speaking about the need for quality caregivers, Helen said; “We are looking for local people to be part of our team. We are looking for kind, compassionate, and friendly people to be trained to the highest standards so they can support clients with confidence.
Home Instead Senior Care is changing the way care is delivered in the UK. Their service is tailored to the needs of individual clients and ranges from companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, post-discharge care, personal care, medication reminders, shopping and errands. The service is totally flexible to meet clients’ needs and is available from as little as 1 hour to 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
