Local residents could join a litter-pick in Salisbury this weekend as part of a regional clean-up campaign.

The Big Clean, organised by South West Conservatives, brings out MPs, councillors and volunteers on Friday, September 20, Saturday 21, and Sunday 22.

Nabil Najjar, deputy chairman of Salisbury Conservatives, is organising a litter-pick and clean-up in the woods and open space in Bemerton Heath on Saturday.

Meeting at Folly View, the session lasts from 9.30am to midday. Salisbury City Council is providing equipment.
