Salisbury FC has thanked all their fans for their support at the playoff game at Metropolitan Police and throughout the season.

In a statement, Chairman Ian Hammond said: “Thanks also to Steve, his Management team and every player who has represented the Club this season.”

“Whilst losing the play off semi-final was hard to take, we should be rightly proud of what we have achieved this season and the spirit, courage and resilience of the squad.

“As planning for next season continues we hope to be in a position to share news on player signings in the near future along with our pre-season plans.

“As a reminder, season tickets for next season are now available at the early bird prices, see the SFC website for details.

“Thank you again for your outstanding support and we look forward to having you all on board as we give it another go next season.”

Salisbury finished fourth in the 2018/19 Premier Division South to qualify for playoffs. Had they finished third, they would have benefited from home advantage in the first playoff round.

But, a heavy loss to Harrow Borough at home in the last regular season game forced them to travel to Metropolitan Police where they unfortunately fell short, losing 3-2 to end the season.
