If you want to vote in the next elections, you need to register now in Wiltshire Council’s annual canvass which ensures the electoral register is up-to-date.
Residents are urged to respond online or by telephone or to return the form posted to every household in the pre-paid envelope provided.
In total, 223,000 envelopes were sent to Wiltshire households.
Last year, 21,329 people responded digitally compared with 2017. Overall, 201,620 responses were received with 97,722 via text, telephone or online, and 96,000 by post, giving overall response rate of 91.69%.
The council warns that it is a legal requirement to provide the information requested to ensure it is up-to-date and accurate. To confirm details, go online at www.householdresponse.com, or telephone (Freephone) 0800 197 9871 or text NOCHANGE to 80212 and use the security codes printed at the top of their form. This is quickest and easiest way to confirm the information on the form is correct, but information can be returned by post.
If any details are incorrect, or to update details, visit www.householdresponse.com by using the security codes provided at the top of the household enquiry form. Anyone added to the form will still need to register to vote at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote providing date of birth and national insurance number to complete their registration.
