Singer/songwriter Philippa Hanna performs at St. Mark’s & St. Andrew’s Parish, Salisbury, from 7pm to 10pm on Thursday, April 25, with Antoine and Owena (folk duo) as local support.

Philippa is a British singer-songwriter currently travelling between Sheffield, Nashville, and on a hectic international tour.

Since her first public performance with an acoustic guitar in 2007, Philippa has released five albums, a live DVD and had two autobiographies published. She notched up more than 1,000 live performances in 25 countries over the past decade.

As well as becoming a leading light in the Christian & Gospel scene in Europe, the Barnsley-born singer has been invited to open tours for household names including Lionel Richie, Little Mix, Leona Lewis, Wet Wet Wet and Anastacia, highlighting the broadness of her appeal. Philippa Hanna is growing into a widely recognised and respected brand internationally.

Her latest album Come Back Fighting takes Philippa back to her country routes with songs such as Off The Wagon drawing comparisons with Dolly Parton.
