A major fundraising initiative in partnership with The Friends of Erlestoke Prison called cARTes postales – art on postcards – had a flying start with an array of leading and local artists, writers, actors and musicians, and other talented people.

They created unique artwork on a postcard. Buying a postcard voucher could mean becoming the owner of a postcard like the one pictured, by Antony Gormley.

The random allocation of postcards will be announced at the end of October.

The aim is to raise funds to support rehabilitation projects at HMP Erlestoke, including a much-needed all-weather sports pitch, but also money to support the museum and its future plans, including the Salisbury Museum for Future Generations project.
