The Farrant Singers’ next concert is in St. Mary’s Church Wilton on Saturday, June 15, at 7.30pm.

Main feature is Palestrina’s ‘Missa Assumpta est Maria’. Each of its six movements are interspersed with favourite classics, including Allegri’s ‘Miserere mei’, Arvo Pärt’s ‘The Beatitudes’ and Lotti’s eight part ‘Crucifixus’. Byrd, Gibbons, Górecki, Matthew Martin and John Tavener works make up the programme.

The choir, conducted by Andrew Mackay, is backed by organist Mark Wood, rector of St.Mary’s.
