Award-winning composer Kate Edgar is giving her “The West End to Wiltshire” talk on behalf of Cancer Research UK, Salisbury Fundraising Committe, on Thursday, November 8, 7pm, at Coombe Bissett Village Hall.

Kate has had an illustrous career working in theatre and television as a composer, musical director, director and teacher. She has written music for five series of the popular Grandpa in my Pocket, which won a BAFTA. On top of that, Kate has written music and lyrics for many of the Salisbury Playhouse pantomines, as well as Christmas shows all over the country.

In addition to writing and traching, Kate is now focusing on running her four Salisbury based choirs.

Tickets are £15, which include a fish and chip supper, ice cream and a glass of wine can be purchased from Wilton Hardware, Broadchalke community Shop and Coombe Bissett Village Stores.
