A physically exhilarating and touchingly poignant circus-dance show comes to Dorset for one night only in late September.

‘Knot’, the internationally acclaimed circus-dance show by Nikki Rummer and JD Broussé, comes to Gillingham School on Sunday, September 29 at 7.30pm.

Following a month-long run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the  outstanding duo perform through Artsreach, the counties touring arts charity.

Two acrobats meet – they fall in love and dream of the future. But beneath the surface, there lies a truth that threatens to undermine their bond. ‘Knot’ is the story of a very modern affair told sensitively through breath-taking acrobatics, hand-to-hand circus skills and dance.

‘Knot’ received both a Herald Angel Award and a Total Theatre & Jacksons Lane Award for Circus at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Knot was also shortlisted for the 2019 Best of Edinburgh Award.
