The Big Lunch, a national community event, which started at the Eden Project in Cornwall, comes to Wilton on Sunday June 18, 11 – 4pm at Wilton Shopping Village.

The Big Lunch is a simple idea from the Eden Project: the concept being that as many people as possible across the UK have lunch with their neighbours annually, in a simple act of community, friendship and fun.

The Wilton Community Land Trust will host the Free event which this year will encompass another national event “The Big Get Together” in memory of Jo Cox MP.

Relax with a Cocktail or a cup of tea in the courtyard and listen to a great selection of live music. Browse through the artisan stalls whilst the children can join in the fun and games with Wilton Touch Rugby Club and Salisbury Golf Driving Range in the Play park. There will also be a range of children’s activities. Bring a picnic or enjoy the food and drinks for sale on site.

Wilton Community Land Trust works to integrate, promote and stimulate local ventures in four prime areas – housing, trade, tourism and community.

The Community Land Trust works in partnerships with, and is grateful for, the support from Wilton District Business Chamber, Wilton Town Council and Wiltshire Council.
