A new initiative to try to connect the Churchfields commercial community with the businesses in the city centre and surrounding areas is to be launched by Salisbury and District Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

“There is so much local business within Salisbury and surrounding areas. If you add this to the national and international opportunities found among the types of businesses that operate within Churchfields, there is a fantastic collision of opportunity, waiting to happen,” said Dan Rhind-Tutt (pictured) Junior Business Chamber president.

Churchfields Connects launches on Friday, September 13, when John Glen will talk about local opportunities, as well as the current national political climate, which is occupying much of his time. Doors open at 8am at Alabaré in Churchfields, with a Q&A, bacon sandwiches and networking, ending at 9.30am.

“We are encouraging as many Churchfields and Salisbury and District businesses to attend as possible,” Dan added.
