Sports and activities for young people aged five to 14 years during the holidays are promised at special sports camps, and include athletics, basketball, cricket, dance, tennis and football, provided by Wiltshire Cricket, Wiltshire Tennis and Swindon Town Football in the Community.
The camps are open to all abilities, and present challenges, games, coaching and competitions during the week.
Wiltshire Council is running inclusive sport days for young persons with a disability, aged eight to 19, with athletics, basketball, cricket and tennis all on offer.
The multi-sport Fun in the Sun programme returns to 27 village venues for 90-minute sessions of outdoor games, activities and sports at each venue for four weeks, for ages five to 11, and free.
The sessions are run by qualified staff in line with Ofsted guidelines, with limited places to make sure they are safe. Each week has a different theme, so there is something for everyone at an affordable price.
Intensive swimming lessons include free swimming for under-16s during specific sessions. Young people must register in advance.
