I visited Salisbury today with my two sons and mum.
We were watching the Easter parade as my son wanted to listen to the music (he has CP and is on the autism spectrum). He had a major meltdown resulting in a lot of crying and screaming, biting and punching.
The lovely, lovely people in the parade all asked if he would like a balloon or hot cross bun to cheer him up: we must have had at least 10 people ask.
I just wanted to say a huge thank you for trying to help console my son, and a massive apology if he was rude to you. He is a very loving boy, but just got very overwhelmed.
A special thank you, as well, to two separate people who took a second to pop over to us to ask if we were OK.
I very much appreciate it.
