Police want to question a man and have released a CCTV image him after a robbery in Salisbury, near the United Reformed Church in Fisherton Street just before 11am on Thursday, March 8.

The victim, a woman in her 70s, was approached and pulled to the floor in the alleyway alongside the church. He stole her handbag and ran off towards Crane Street on the river path.

The man is white, in his late 20s or early 30s, about 5ft 6ins tall, with stubble face. He was wearing a brown hoody, light blue jeans, dark coloured trainers and distinctive red or orange headphones. The handbag has since been found with money missing.

A 31-year-old man from Salisbury and a 49-year-old woman from Devizes were arrested over the incident but released under investigation pending further enquiries.
