An Archive Exhibition celebrates the arts in Salisbury, drawing on the history of the Arts Centre, International Arts Festival and Playhouse Theatre.
It’s part of Wiltshire Creative’s Lift Off! August Bank Holiday weekend at Salisbury Arts Centre.
Looking back and together moving forward. In the exhibition, Wiltshire Creative remembers and celebrates the massive achievements of the three organisations that now form Wiltshire Creative: Salisbury Arts Centre, Salisbury International Arts Festival and Salisbury Playhouse.
Salisbury will show its strengths during four days of free entertainment celebrating the arts and launch Wiltshire Creative’s first season of programming.
With live music and fireworks, street theatre and circus, family fun and arts activities, the Lift Off! August Bank Holiday Weekend is from Friday, August 24 to Monday, 27, at Salisbury Arts Centre, Salisbury Playhouse and in the city’s streets, with free theatre in and around Salisbury Playhouse, a Family Fiesta at Salisbury Arts Centre and a visual arts trail between the two venues.
