The group of 18 cadets, aged 13 to 18, from the new Wiltshire Police Volunteer Cadets group in Salisbury have been recognised for achievements.
The unit received certificates of attestation after each cadet had completed the basic level training to swear their oath and commitment to the scheme.
The unit started training in October, 2016, and have met weekly during term time. They were taught procedures used by the police, including the phonetic alphabet, radio procedures, how to deal with lost/found property and missing people, basic law, among other things.
