Appeal after serious crash

A serious crash on the A36 at Landford, near Salisbury, at about 1am on Tuesday, September 11, closed the road for several hours while emergency services dealt with the incident. Traffic is now running freely through the area on the A36 westbound from Southampton to Salisbury, at Partridge Hill, Landford.

Police say that, for reasons unknown a silver Honda Civic left the nearside carriageway and collided with a tree. The driver, a 25-year-old woman, and the passenger, a 21-year-old man, were taken to Southampton General Hospital with significant and potentially life-changing injuries.
