Hair Extension Cave lands in Fisherton Street

Molly Cook is the owner and founder of newly opened Hair Cave salon on Fisherton Street. The salon held a launch night on December 10 to celebrate the official opening.

Special guest Cllr John Lindley had the honour of cutting the red ribbon.

“I was very pleased to open The Hair Cave, it’s a bright independent new business and very distinctive, I wish Molly all the best.”

The popular Hair Cave offers an extensive range of all things hair and beauty including; artificial hair, clip-in hair extensions, Nano ring and real hair pieces plus a wide-range of beauty treatments. Since opening Molly has had a great response from the public and a lot of interest in her services.

“I’m so happy with the positive response so far and People are intrigued and excited to come in and try on wigs.”

Molly’s idea for opening the hair cave stemmed from her love of hair and beauty and making people feel great about themselves. While studying hairdressing at college Molly came across a gap in the market for sourcing extensions and real hair.

“After 3 months of researching about hair and from people telling me how difficult it is to source hair extensions I realised there’s a real need for this.”

Molly started up her business in her garden shed at the age of just 21 distributing stock through online orders and using social media as a platform to advertise. The response and need for her product prompted her to open a shop in Salisbury and she decided Fisherton Street was the perfect place.

“I chose Fisherton Street because it’s one of the busiest streets in town and has great links to parking and the train station.

“The shop is already proving much more popular than my original expectations, with clients particularly enjoying being able to come in and feel the hair products before they buy, and receive a one to one personal service Molly added.

The Hair Cave offers a special consultation for clients with Alopecia and hair loss sufferers with special discounts available.

In the future Molly plans to open an affordable training academy for hair technicians.
