Rotary Club of Wilton’s fireworks event for the next three years could have added sparkle.
Persimmon Homes, which has building sites in the area, has signed up to sponsor the annual event for three years.
Matt Paine, managing director for Persimmon Homes South Coast, said: “The Rotary Club plays a fantastic role in the area, organising events and raising funds for local projects, so we are delighted to support their annual fireworks display for the next three years.”
This year’s event is on Saturday, November 4 at the Livestock Market, Netherhampton Road. Gates open at 5.45pm sand the fireworks display starts at 7.45pm.
Alan Corkill, chair of Rotary Fireworks Organising Committee, added: “The fireworks display is one of our biggest events of the year, but we are only able to provide such a big show with the help of local businesses. We are very grateful to Persimmon Homes for their support.”
Tickets for the fireworks display are online or from local outlets at £8 adults and £4 children aged four to 17, with one child admitted free per adult. Prices on the gate are £10 and £5.
