Nick Andrew, who was one of the founders of Wylye Valley Art Trail, will be opening his studio at Bull Mill, Crockerton, for this year’s trail from May 27 to June 4.
But Nick is also looking for a London gallery to show the paintings he has been making following a year of visits to London’s parks and gardens. He had hoped to exhibit the pictures at the Curwen Gallery, but it has sadly closed after 35 years of trading.
There was good news just around the corner when Nick heard he had won the Individual Artists Award at the Wiltshire Life Awards. He says “It was a real surprise, a boost and validation! It was a great evening (even though black tie isn’t really my style!)”
Nick and his partner artist Tanya Hinton continue to open their Bull Mill studio near Warminster every first Saturday of the month and will be among the 360 artists and 73 venues open for this year’s Wylye Valley Art Trail. The free brochure is available from mid-April.
